What is the difference between DVD Duplication and Replication ? Replication is the process of pressing or stamping data onto a DVD from a master disc. A glass master is created for this process and a1000 disc minimum is required. These disc are often region encoded and will only work in certain regions such as the US. Duplication is a process of burning the information into dye on the disc. More flexible for smaller quantities, this creates a DVD-R that is compatible with most equipment made in the last 3 years.
